About Us

A Message from the Founders

Over the past 2 ½ years, many citizens have joined our effort to persuade the City Administration to open a Dog Park in Frisco. Just as the City's recreational areas allow residents to enjoy a wide variety of sports and other leisure activities, a Dog Park would enable responsible dog owners to relax with their dogs in an area where the animals can run safely and legally off-leash.

Our Vision is for the City of Frisco to provide an ideal off-leash park for dog owners and their dogs. This Park will not only provide the citizens of Frisco great pleasure, but will become a destination for people living in and around the DFW Metroplex.

Our Mission is to educate the community about the benefits of off-leash parks and to raise funds for the new Dog Park. All donations are tax deductible.

With your help, we have shown our City Leaders that a Dog Park is an important amenity and is greatly needed in Frisco. In January 2009, the City Council voted unanimously to approve adding the Dog Park to their list of projects. Funding has not yet been allocated; however, the Parks & Recreation Board is currently working to identify a construction schedule for the dog park.

Thank you for your continued support to get a Dog Park in Frisco!
