We are pleased to announce the first annual Frisco Dog Park, Inc. “Rover Rally”! It is a festival for dogs and people of Frisco and the surrounding communities. Frisco Dog Park, Inc. is organizing Rover Rally in order to contribute funds toward a future off-leash dog park in Frisco. This fun & exciting event will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Frisco Commons Park (map). There will be entertainment, demonstrations, a pet photographer, pet products, and much much more! Rain or shine event.

Why:
Our organization has committed to raise funds for donation to the City of Frisco for amenities in, or maintenance of the new Dog Park. Please help us reach our 2008 goal: donate $10,000 to the City of Frisco for our new Dog Park!

2:30 - 3:30    Dog Contests: Best Trick, Cutest Dog, Best Tail Wagger, Owner Look Alike, Best Dressed, and Best Talking Dog

On-going Activities: Bounce House, Canine Good Citizenship Evaluations*, Professional Photos of Your Pet, courtesy of Silver Star Pictures (100% of proceeds will be donated to Frisco Dog Park, Inc.!), Vendors, Bobbing for Weenies, Music, Photos with Sparkie the Dalmatian, and more!

*Canine Good Citizenship Evaluations (CGC) is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
